Dr. James M. Noth
“A high school science teacher encouraged me
to consider medicine after watching my interest in biology quickly develop.
In medical school, my fascination with the eye developed into my desired
specialty. Technology had also peaked my curiosity, and with my interest
in the eye, I was able to pursue both interests while providing surgical
services to my patients.”
Dr. Noth received his doctorate in 1979 from the University of Illinois
Chicago, finished his ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois
in 1983, and Corneal External Disease Fellowship Tufts at the New England
Medical Center in 1984. He holds certification from the Fellow American
Academy of Ophthalmology and Diplomate American Board of Ophthalmology
and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Noth is
a surgeon, specializing in Cataract surgery, Corneal Transplant surgery
and Refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK, PTK).
Dr. Noth enjoys golf and reading when he is not in the office.
Dr. Noth sees patients in our Downers Grove office and in his office
in Hinsdale.
